Rabies clinics

Saturday, September 24, 2011, the LIVMA, working in conjunction with the Nassau County Board of Health and the Oyster Bay and Hempstead Town Animal Shelters, hosted two rabies clinics where close to 500 pets received vaccinations.

Thanks to the following veterinary volunteers who made the two clinics possible: Drs. Les Dattner, Dennis Dougherty, Lauren Entes,  Fernando Leyza, Terra Martin, Mathew Morgan, Neil Saslow, Todd Seideman, Jeffrey Segal, Surinder Wadyal, and Martin Zipkin.  Thanks also to the following licenses veterinary technicians for their assistance: Ms. Maggie Byrnes and Ms. Fellicia Gilbert.

Merial, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Pfizer donated the vaccinations needed. The 2012 Town of Oyster Bay / LIVMA Rabies Clinic has already been scheduled for Saturday, September 22, 2012.
